About SCC

Rossville School Community Council is a bridge between the school and the community. The SCC does various activities for the students. We do a hot lunch once a month, an annual Halloween dance and a Year End BBQ. Over the years the SCC has fundraised and purchased many new pieces of playground equipment, trees, and a bench to make our school a great place. We support our school by purchasing programs for the students such as RAZ Kids, awards when they reach their goals, and help pay for babysitting at meetings, student led conferences, and kindergarten orientation.

We take pride in being engaged in our children's learning! Being a member of the SCC allows us to be directly involved in the education provided for our kids at this great little school.  We also love being a part of all the fun activities our kids enjoy here at Rossville.

We always welcome new members, if you are thinking about it, give Lisa Rechenmacher a call by calling Rossville School and asking for Lisa's number. Also, babysitters are provided for the meetings!

" To develop shared responsibility for the learning success and well-being of all children and youth, and, encourage and facilitate parent and community engagement in school planning and improvement processes."
